Instead of the cast traveling the world, or even throughout the California area, all of the Bachelorette filming took place at the La Quinta Resort and Club, a Waldorf Astoria Resort. It’s located in La Quinta, California, which is super-close to Indio, where Coachella usually takes place. So, next time you’re headed to the music festival (whenever it resumes, post-COVID), you might want to check it out, to get a slice of that Bachelorette lifestyle. Why exactly producers of The Bachelorette chose to film at this specific location is unclear, but the remote location obviously must’ve been a factor.
It’s worth noting that Matt James’ season of The Bachelor is currently filming in isolation, too, but at a different location. James’ camp is actually on the other side of the country, so there will be no crossover in location. That’s why La Quinta Resort and Club was able to reopen to the public at the start of September, shortly after filming for Crawley’s season wrapped.
If this sounds like a vacation you’d like to take, be in stepping into the desert or simply into the spa, you can browse availability on the La Quinta website. Rooms start around $200 per night, according to the site. If you just happen to be in the area, there’s immediate availability. What’s more epic than watching The Bachelorette in a hotel robe from the very place it filmed? Nothing. Nothing at all.
You can tune into The Bachelorette Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
