(Update: 3/18 10:00 p.m. EST. ) Teamfight Tactics Mobile is now available to download on the Play and iOS App Stores.

Teamfight Tactics Mobile Release Date and Time

Teamfight Tactics Mobile will be available on iOS and Android devices March 19. The actual release time for the game varies depending on region, but there are a few clues as to when the game will hit app stores. Riot Games usually rolls out patches or new content at 6 a.m. EST. for League of Legends, but the TFT Mobile game might arrive as early as midnight in your local time zone.

What is Teamfight Tactics Mobile?

Teamfight Tactics is an auto battler, where players build a team of champions with unique synergies to overtake an opponent. The goal is to build the strongest composition possible and then watch them fight it out on the board. Random items and coins will drop from NPC monster encounters, allowing you to buff your team with powerful abilities. To make your champions strong, combine three of them into one two-star character or nine into a three-star golden powerhouse.

The Galaxy set is the third to be released since the Beta was made public. This set is all about using the celestial themes of League of Legends, like Star Guardians, Odyssey and Project. Players will also be able to purchase new arenas or boom particle effects with RP, as well as a Galaxy Pass that allows you to earn extra content.

The mobile version of Teamfight Tactics will be the exact same game that players have been experimenting with on PC, but with a few minor UI changes. Players will need to open a separate menu to use items or purchase champions so the screen doesn’t become too cluttered. New Galaxy-themed Little Legends (which are cute player avatars) will be available at launch, as well as ranked progression.

How to Download Teamfight Tactics Mobile

On March 19, you’ll be able to find Teamfight Tactics Mobile on either the Apple iOS Store or the Google Play Store. There won’t be tablet support at launch, so unfortunately you won’t be able to mess around with the game on a larger screen.
