Teamfight Tactics Mobile will be mostly the same as its PC counterpart, with crossplay across existing platforms included. There are substantial changes to its menu and the user interface, but everything else is exactly how you picture it. If you want to equip items or buy champions, you’ll need to open a drag-out menu that takes up a large portion of the screen. The mobile version also won’t have a store at launch, so the only way to buy and unlock Little Legends is by spending RP using your PC client.
Teamfight Tactics Mobile will be available on Android and iOS smartphones first but will take a bit longer to arrive on tablet devices.
Wild Rift, the League of Legends mobile version meant to be a condensed take on the MOBA, still has no official release date or release window.
For those who fell in love with Teamfight Tactics, this mobile port can keep you addicted for even longer. TFT matches can take over a half hour if you’re doing well, so now you’ll be able to actually function while playing. Think of all the errands you can do half as well while trying to get a three-star Shyvana to carry your matches!
It’s worth reiterating that the target month of March is treated as more of a release window than a proper release date. Unconfirmed release dates for mobile apps are fairly common in the gaming sector. High-profile titles like Fortnite and Call of Duty Mobile appeared on the App Store randomly without fanfare or hints of arrival. The same can be said for Nintendo apps, which have short beta periods before randomly launching over the next few months. If Teamfight Tactics Mobile is still testing to see how the game is going to function in March, expect it to arrive sometime over the next few months.
